Lennox 2 Day Weather Camp * August 15th & 16th 2017
Looking for a fun science camp this summer? We will have an opportunity for your student to learn about a variety of weather topics, including flooding, thunderstorms, tornadoes and more! Plus, we’ll explore these topics in depth with hands-on experiments and demonstrations. Your student will be able to ask questions and dive deeper into a science we experience every day. Here are a few of the topics we’ll cover.
-Learn to draw your own weather map
-Science of rain drops
-What causes thunder?
-Explore ways to measure air pressure
-Make our own tornado
-Closer look at how doppler radar works
WHEN:
Tuesday August 15th and Wednesday, August 16th
Session 1, Ages 7 – 10, 1:30 – 3:00
Session 2, Ages 10+, 3:30 – 5:00
WHERE: Lennox Pizza Ranch, 112 E. 1st Ave., Lennox SD
Cost: $20 per student

Payment is not due until the first day of class, and may be made by check the first day, or via PayPal anytime, to karstensclasses@gmail.com.
Parents are not required to come to class, but are welcome to attend with their students!
